Founder and Director of the Sleep Unit at Hospital Txagorritxu in Vitoria (1991).

Head of Research Services at the Araba University Hospital and Scientific Coordinator of the Bioaraba Healthcare Research Institute.

Professor of the Basque Country Faculty of Medicine.

Expert in Sleep Disorders, credited by the Spanish Board of Sleep Medicine (CEAMS).

Director of the Sleep Unit at the Eduardo Anitua Clinic (2010).
